# Payment Page

How payment works on the Trybit payment page, available payment methods, and customization options.

**The payment page** is what the customer sees after proceeding to pay an invoice: the interface where they choose a cryptocurrency and payment method and complete the payment.

### How payment works

1. The customer proceeds to pay the invoice.
2. They choose the currency, network, and payment method, and provide an email for notifications if needed.
3. They receive an address for transfer and a QR code — or pay via a Web3 wallet or WalletConnect (see below); these two methods are set apart because the wallet connects directly and fills in the details itself, which rules out mistakes from manually copying the address or choosing the network.
4. They send the funds.
5. The invoice is confirmed automatically after the required number of network confirmations (timing for each network is on the [Invoice Statuses](/payments/invoice-statuses.md) page).
6. The customer and merchant receive a status notification.

You can view the demo payment page via [the link](https://demopay.trybit.com/?lang=en).

### Payment methods on the payment page

* **Transfer to a wallet address** — the customer transfers funds to the issued address on their own, from any wallet or exchange.
* **Web3 wallet** — payment in a few clicks via a browser extension (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, TronLink, and others) — the wallet connects right on the payment page, no need to copy the address. The set of available wallets depends on the chosen network and device.
* **WalletConnect** — connecting a wallet via QR code over a secure connection, available on all supported networks; suitable for paying from a mobile device. The connection is automatically dropped after a period of inactivity.

### Rate lock

The cryptocurrency exchange rate is locked at the moment the invoice is created and doesn't change for the entire duration it's valid — the amount due doesn't "float," even if the market rate changes in the meantime.

### Customization

Page customization becomes available after the project exits test mode. In the Payment Page Builder, you can configure:

* the project logo;
* a color theme — light, dark, colored, or custom;
* the display order of currencies, networks, and payment methods in the list;
* the payment page language.

The page language is determined automatically by the customer's browser language; more than 20 languages are supported — English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Uzbek, Kazakh, Polish, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Hindi, Arabic, and others. The language can be locked in the project settings or passed as a `?lang=xx` parameter in the link (for example, `?lang=ru`), regardless of the browser language.

### What the customer sees on the page

A timer (the invoice's expiration time), the current invoice status, a transaction-check button, a support chat — for any payment questions — and next to it a "Find an Answer" tab with answers to customers' frequently asked questions, so customers can resolve some questions themselves without waiting for a chat reply.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.trybit.com/payments/payment-page.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
